Enrolment & Re-enrolment Procedures
Welcome to Oak International School! We’re excited to guide you through our admissions process. Whether you are a new family or returning parent, our goal is to make enrollment simple, transparent, and accessible, all from the comfort of your home.
Admission Timeline
Admission for the next academic year opens each February. Entrance tests are held four times a year, giving families flexibility in scheduling:
- 28th February 2026
- 21st March 2026
- 18th April 2026
- 25th July 2026
Each applicant is considered holistically, based on:
- Report cards of Last two classes attended
- Entrance test scores in English and Mathematics; Français and Mathematiques
- Educmaster Number (As it applies)
Step 1: Schedule an Orientation Visit
Parents interested in enrolling their child at Oak International School can book an orientation appointment through our School Secretariat.
You may choose between:
- An on-campus visit, where you can explore our classrooms, meet teachers, and experience the learning environment in person.
- A virtual tour, ideal for families living abroad or unable to visit physically. Our team will guide you through the school via an online meeting, showcasing our programs, facilities, and community life.
School visits and virtual tours are available on appointments and provide a great opportunity to learn more about our programs, values, and facilities.
Step 2: Complete the Online Enrollment Form
All applications must be submitted online through the OIS Admissions Portal. Families should:
- Fill out the digital enrollment form
- Upload the required documents, including:
- Legalized Birth certificate or valid ID
- Report Cards of last two classes attended
- 2 Recent passport-size photograph
- Transfer to educmaster ( If applicable)

Step 3: Entrance Test & Evaluation
Applicants to Grades 1–8 are required to:
- Pay a non-refundable entrance fee – 20000 FCFA
- Take an entrance test assessing English and Mathematics; Français and Mathematiques
After the test:
- Results are reviewed within 7 days
- Families are interviewed by OIS staff to discuss results and next steps
- Admission decisions and grade placement are then communicated via email or in-person pick up
Step 4: Admission Confirmation
Once accepted:
- Families confirm by completing the final online enrollment steps
- Parents must acknowledge all school policies and conditions
- A waiting list will be created when classes reach full capacity
- Students are placed in the appropriate grade based on the age they turn during the calendar year in which classes begin and on the entrance test result.
Wait List & Priority Admissions
If a class is full, applicants will join a waiting list and be notified when a space becomes available.
Among equally qualified candidates, priority consideration is given to:
- Students with siblings currently enrolled or applying
- Students with strong entrance test results
Re-Enrollment for Current Students
Each April, returning families receive an invitation from the Admissions Office to confirm re-enrollment for the next school year.
To secure your child’s place:
- Complete the online re-enrollment form
- Upload any updated documents
- Submit the re-enrollment deposit
- After April 1, any unconfirmed seats are offered to new applicants on the waiting list.
